The fourth issue of NEW SCIENTIST : THE COLLECTION is dedicated to The Human Story. It is a compilation of classic articles from New Scientist, and it explains how an ordinary ape evolved into the most remarkable species the Earth has ever known. The collection looks at our distinct origins, how the human brain has developed into the complex 'machine' that it is. Also the importance of DNA and language in our development as a species, movement of people, how difference races have developed, why are animals so important to human development and finally what or what changed to encourage technological progress.
